Speaking may be the most burning issue when it comes to learning a foreign language. How can we make shy students speak? How can we enhance speaking in our classrooms? How can we involve students more, so that they can become confident users of the language? These are only a few questions this workshop is trying to address. During it, the participants will get ideas, practice, learn and share, by discovering and by getting actively involved in all the activities I will demonstrate, which they can use in their classrooms to enable much more language practice for their students.

  1. Useful and interesting techniques presented. Running dictation is especially useful to get all learners involved in reading, writing and vocabulary memorizing activities. it is a very good for engagement of learners not confident in their knowledge.
    Thank you!

  2. Useful ideas, thanks for sharing them. A running dictation can be made easier by choosing 1 student to read (whisper) the text to the student who is running.
