Abstract

We witnessed how education worldwide, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, changed dramatically in the last year. Could it be that online education, can create new, more effective methods of education? We will try to present teachers and learners’ perceptions of the advantages and obstacles of online teaching and/or learning in EFL classes. It will also explore possible advantages and obstacles to better understand both teachers’ and learners’ attitudes towards online education as well as shed light on challenges faced when implementing online education. Of course, there will be a few practical suggestions for professionals planning to start teaching online.

What are the pros and cons of online teaching?
